TREKK Design Group was founded with the primary objective to provide
quality civil engineering design services while meeting the budgets and
scheduled deadlines of our projects. Through the combined efforts of our
project team, quality control issues will be given the highest level of
emphasis through the duration of the project. We have a quality minded staff
whose dedication gives personalized attention to each project. We offer a full
range of water/wastewater design, traffic engineering, transportation design, surveying, engineering field support services, project management and land

Kimberly
L. Pemberton, P.E. Transportation Design Team Lead
Partner
General Experience
Ms. Pemberton is a Partner with the TREKK
Design Group. She is directly responsible for client development,
management of company operations, project management, and project design.
Prior to joining TREKK Design Group, Ms.
Pemberton acquired eight years of transportation design experience. Ms.
Pemberton gained experience in highway and roadway improvement projects. She
worked extensively on a three-and-a-half mile highway project from preparation
of right-of-way plans through final construction plans. She also gained
valuable knowledge in highway design, storm sewer design and coordination of
utility relocations.
Her overall experience includes roadway and storm drainage design, traffic
control, pavement marking and signing plans for new and widening roadway
improvement projects. This would include involvement with client and peer
reviews, public meetings, right of way negotiation requests, and utility
coordination. Her project experience includes water, sanitary sewer and traffic
signal projects. She also has experience in sanitary sewer testing, traffic
turning-movement counts and field reviews of survey data collected and design
plans.
Ms. Robinett is a Managing Partner of the TREKK
Design Group. She is directly responsible for management of company
operations, financial decisions, project management, and electrical project
design.
Prior to joining the TREKK Design Group in
March 2003, Ms. Robinett acquired a year of experience in electrical design
before a five year career in telecommunication; working at Sprint, MO Public
Service and Shaw Electric. She has experience in the design of electrical
service to new development, electrical layout of a new subdivision, street
lighting, and telecommunications equipment.
Her overall experience includes project management, fiscal compliance, and
purchasing material for projects totaling over $3.5 million per year, complex
telecommunications network design/layout, cost estimates of hospital electrical
layout, layout and design of electrical service to new subdivision, sizing of
service for commercial customers, layout and installation of street lighting,
audit of existing electrical lines. She also has experience in the management
of a cross-departmental team of engineers in the effort for new edge switch,
marketing, construction project management, and financial responsibilities.
Trent S.
Robinett, P.E. Civil Design Team Lead
Partner
General Experience
Mr. Robinett is a Partner with the TREKK
Design Group. He is directly responsible for client development,
management of company operations, project management, and project design.
Prior to starting the TREKK Design Group in
February 2002, Mr. Robinett acquired eight years of transportation design
experience. Four years with other local consulting firms and three years of
experience with the Missouri Department of Transportation. He has experience in
the design of highways, weigh stations, four-lane arterials, city streets,
subdivisions, commercial site development, location studies and intersection
improvements including roundabouts.
His overall experience includes project management, roadway geometric design,
roadside safety design, project permitting and plan review. He has designed
storm sewer systems, waterline extensions, sanitary sewers, force mains,
developed traffic control plans, calculated construction quantities, and
developed construction cost estimates. He has produced cross sections, designed
storm water culverts, pavement-marking plans, and erosion control plans. Other
aspects of geometric improvements that he has been involved with include
utility relocation, acquisition of right of way, retaining walls, resurfacing,
and signal and signing plans.
Cliff Cate, P.E. Water/Wastewater Team Lead
Partner
General Experience
Mr. Cate is a Partner with the
TREKK Design Group. He is directly responsible for client development, management of company operations, and all phases of water/wastewater projects including project management and project design.
Prior to joining TREKK Design Group, Mr.
Cate acquired eleven years of water distribution and wastewater collection
system experience. His experience has included field investigation, hydraulic
and water distribution modeling, design, and preparation of report/contract
documents. Typical water and wastewater design projects have included sanitary
sewer master plans, sanitary sewer evaluation studies (SSESs), sanitary sewer
rehabilitation, hydraulic modeling, and water distribution modeling.
His overall experience includes local and national water and wastewater
projects. He has evaluated and modeled existing water and sanitary sewer
systems, designed sewer extensions, interceptors, pump stations and
rehabilitation projects, and managed sanitary sewer master plans. City of
Liberty projects have included the study of the Upper Cates Branch and Little
Shoal Creek sanitary sewer systems and the Phase I rehabilitation of the Upper
Cates Branch.
