The kcICON project replaces the Paseo Bridge and approximately 5 miles of I-29/I-35.  This project involves a landmark cable-stay Christopher S. Bond Missouri River bridge, and will upgrade Interstate 29/35 to six lanes from north of the Route 210/Armour Road interchange to Independence Ave. It also adds a southbound lane from the northeast corner of the Central Business District loop to Oak Street.

TREKK Design Group, LLC, is teamed with Clarkson/Massman/Keiwitt (contractor joint venture) and Parsons/Transystems (lead engineering firms).  TREKK will be fulfilling DBE goals through street lighting, bridge lighting & power requirements, traffic signals, traffic team lead, storm drainage design on north segment, retaining and noise wall design, maintenance of traffic design support, survey, highway design support and construction staking.  Bridge photos, corridor animation and additional information are available on the project’s Web site: www.kcicon.org
